Fifth Grade quiz

Derry & Dan both had this on their blog today, so I had to try my hand at it. Thank you to my 5th grade teacher who taught us to sing the 50 states in alphabetical order! Can any of you beat my time (on your first try)? I'm guessing that more than a few of you can! I got stuck on Wyoming.

Someone stumbled upon our site yesterday using this search term:

"Federer Sociopath"

Hmm...I'm not sure that really accurately represents the post I wrote about Roger Federer. Plus, I'm a little curious if someone out there thinks that he is a sociopath, because, well, that's just crazy (although I suppose his all-black "Darth Federer" outfit he wore at the US Open did scare some people).

Maybe he is kind of scary looking...

I can't believe we're blogging.

I'm finding it hard to believe that anyone out there would find our life to be interesting enough to come vist our blog, but it does seem to be the thing to do these days, especially as our friends and family are spread out all throughout the country.

The intent of this blog is to allow those who wish to keep up with the goings on in our life. In particular, as Nancy is pregnant with the Blob (you can see why we call him that in the picture below), this seemed to be the best way to allow people to keep up with the pregnancy and eventual child birth, etc...

Well, that indecipherable black & white image on the right is the Blob. Given its appearance, there seemed to be no other reasonable name for it. This was ultrasound was taken on April 19. Perhaps by the time we get to the next ultrasound a more appropriate name will present itself. I'm thinking Jackbauer.
