Sophie at Two Weeks Old

So apparently we are the parents of a 2 week old baby. We're still waiting for the parent police to come by and say there was some mistake, but apparently there was no mistake and we really are allowed to be somebody's parents. So far she seems to like us, which works out well because we're crazy about her.

We were very fortunate to have both of Sophie's grandmothers come to stay and help us out for a few days. Grandma Erickson was here November 26-29, and Grandma Dayton was here December 1-6. Both of them were a wonderful help, and we're thrilled about how excited they were to spend time with their granddaughter and helping Nancy. Big thanks to both of them!

Nancy visited her doctor today and was given the fantastic news that she is now allowed to take a bath again. As this is one of her favorite things to do, she was very excited and wasted almost no time to dive right in! If only Sophie enjoyed taking a bath that much...

We are very much looking forward to seeing our family members who follow along on this space at Christmas time. Be sure to get healthy by Christmas so that you can meet the baby!!!
